Friday Fundie #7

Now dont get too excited and swallow your own tongue or something. But what you are about to see is truly exciting stuff. I have found actual footage of the real Gandalf. Yes the books are in fact history, not fable as some suggest. Gandalf is clearly pissed off and is not afraid to give us all a good hard slap of wisdom across the face. But fear not, there are things to be learned from the greatest wizard of all time. For example, ultimate wisdom and ultimate happiness is attained by seeing many deaths in front of you. Oh and something else about leading God around like you are a guide dog. To be honest just about everthing that Gandalf says is brilliant. I just wish he told this stuff to Frodo before he took off, those two walls to the left and right would have made the journey much simpler.

And finally, history tells us that the tale of Gandalfs fight with the Balrog deep in the mountains was perhaps not meant to be taken literally. There has appeared over the last few years some alternative accounts of this text which many Middle Earth historians believe is a more likely account. I present them to you now; make up your own minds.

Jason, if only Dumbledore was there too, he had a more vested interest. Mind you, that Sam Gamgee is one cuddly fellow. Who knows what went on out bush.

From 1:30 in that top video they use Dessert instead of Desert.

    Makes it quite comedic.

    Haha very nice.
Speaking of Gandalf, there is a man who goes by that name around Cockatoo, VIC I believe, who dresses as a wizard. I guess he got a visa and moved from NZ :-)

I think he is actually called Baba Dez.

That might be another person who dresses like a wizard…There is a few of those up in the hills.
