Question on boards:

My sister is pregnant and she called me this morning and said her OBGYN is STRONGLY recommending she get the swine flu shot! She lives in Gainesville, FL and her doc told her that pregnant women can die, etc.

Could anyone give me any links or know of a website I could send her that would encourage her NOT to get it? She is somewhat open minded, but is scared from what the doc said.

Response from unnamed AVN board member.

Tell it her it has mercury in it and other toxic things
no woman who is pregnant should get mercury injected into her

1. the vaccine has not been tested in pregnant women and on their fetuses
2. the vaccine contains mercury which is toxic to the woman and the fetus
3. the vaccine maker has been given immuity and has no liability for harm from the vaccine whatsoever
4. The tests being used to diagnose H1N1 are giving far too many false positive results
(9) and what’s worse, doctors are not submitting samples to laboratories for testing.
Anyone with flu-like symptoms is now assumed to have H1N1 swine flu — a decision
which has increased the number of cases exponentially.(10,11)

The Australian Vaccination Network DO give out medical advice. Woops! What a slip up. Do what you will with this information. Original email can be provided if needed.

Jpower and crankypants are the same person. Please stick to using one name :). Honesty and transparency are valued on this website.

I encourage everyone to checkout Jpower/Crankypants list of sites, this one http://www.visainfo.org.au/ is basically doing the same thing as the AVN, recomending homeophyaxsis(sp?) as a safe alternative to vaccination.
