RE. laptops in exams: No! If student handwriting is getting sloppy, don’t make it even *worse* by getting them to use laptops! As much as I like computers, people still need to be able to write things down for when there are some around. Deleting “old-school” skills just because there are new technologies is shooting yourself in the foot, in my opinion.
