Great news. The iPhone is ours!
We have some good news for iPhone users. YAS is now iPhone friendly. Go on, have a look and tell us what you think. This is another step along the way on making YAS a more portable website. Bookmark it and put it on your iPhone desktop for quick access! It even has a cool icon (I think).
What it can and can’t do.
You should be able to do everything you can normally do on the website’s non-iPhone version so go nuts! Unfortunately the forums are not iPhone friendly and probably won’t ever be. Suck it up :).
It works on other portable devices too!
Not only does the mobile theme work on iPhone, it seems to work on various other portable devices. I just tested it on Android and found it to work fantastically.
Note: The website will load up as usual in your iPhone. To see the iPhone styling scroll down to the bottom of the site and click the mobile theme button.

I applaud the decision to format the site for mobile devices, as this is primarily where I view the entries, however the pandering to Apple is a bit on the nose.
There exists a plethora of other Internet enabled “smart phones” which could view this page. I adopted a HTC phone running the Android operating system and use it daily.
The “Mobile Theme” button (which is a link) might be aesthetically pleasing to iPhone users, just seems a bit odd on other devices.
On a slightly more positive note, the web site does render well and appear to be fully functional on a phone running Android OS.

The mobile theme works on most portable devices. It works on Android just as it works on the iPhone :).
